Capricornia Catchments has been able to purchase new equipment to support our community activities and on-ground work across the Livingstone Shire, thanks to the generous support of Livingstone Shire Council and Bendigo Community Bank Community Grant Program.
The funding has enabled us to purchase a new marquee, providing much-needed shelter for our outdoor events, workshops and community activities.
We have also purchased new communication equipment for our field vehicle, helping improve safety and communication for our team while working in the field and in areas where mobile coverage can be limited.
These practical additions will support our staff, trainees and community activities and help us continue delivering environmental projects safely and effectively across our region.
A big thank you to Livingstone Shire Council and Bendigo Community Bank Emu Park & Yeppoon Community Bank branches for investing in local organisations and helping us continue to take care of our community and look after our natural resources.
