Skilling Queenslanders for Work – Conservation & Ecosystem Management Traineeships | Capricornia Catchments

Capricornia Catchments delivers Skilling Queenslanders for Work traineeships, providing local participants with paid, hands-on training and practical experience in conservation and ecosystem management.

Trainees work alongside our team on real environmental and community projects across the Rockhampton region, gaining practical experience in activities such as revegetation, land restoration, weed control, habitat rehabilitation, nursery and propagation activities, marine debris clean-ups and other community environmental projects.

The program combines practical work experience, training, individual support and connections with local employers and project partners, helping participants build confidence, skills and pathways into ongoing employment while delivering valuable environmental outcomes for our community.
