These workshops are about participating in activities to support health & wellbeing, through the mind, body, soul & growing from the experience & information.
Wellness is the act of practicing healthy habits on a daily basis to attain better physical and mental health outcomes, so that instead of just surviving, you’re thriving & building resilience to cope with recovery from fire or disasters of any kind.
What you’ll do at the workshop:
- Mind – Creativity & gratitude not only enhances our own lives but also the lives of others. Pick a stone to decorate & write a positive word or words for someone else to receive.
- Body – Change your social wellbeing, physical & psychological health in minutes by releasing “happy hormones” through laughing yoga.
- Soul – Energise the soul, reduce stress & anxiety through craft & creativity making smudge sticks, photo art or paper craft etc.
- Grow – Through nature by planting a seeding to take home & continue it’s journey to flowering or fruiting.
What’s included:
Materials for creative activities, YouTube yoga & gardening activity.
What to bring:
Drinking water & your own gloves if you prefer.
Location:
We can deliver the Mind, Body, Soul & Grow Program in community halls, school, art centers, men’s shed or clubs in the Central Queensland region.
